Abstract

In modern enterprise management systems, financial management occupies a central position through its critical functions in strategic decision-making, optimal resource allocation, and comprehensive risk control, ultimately playing a decisive role in long-term corporate survival and sustainable development. Accounting, serving as the fundamental basis and essential prerequisite of financial management, provides robust and indispensable support for its efficient operation by delivering highly accurate accounting information and implementing rigorous, effective accounting supervision. This paper first elucidates the core status of financial management within the broader context of enterprise management, specifically analyzing its pivotal role in guiding executive decision-making, streamlining resource allocation, and mitigating financial risks. It then systematically explores accounting's supportive role in financial management, emphasizing the critical importance of transparent accounting information as the empirical basis for sound financial management decisions. Furthermore, it highlights the vital assurance provided by continuous accounting supervision for the effective implementation of financial management strategies. Subsequently, the paper delves into the contemporary challenges faced by both financial management and accounting professionals in practical corporate applications, such as technological integration and regulatory compliance, and proposes corresponding, actionable solutions. Finally, it concludes by offering robust theoretical references and practical guidance aimed at significantly enhancing corporate financial management capabilities and strengthening the underlying accounting support mechanisms.
